How your brain reacts to stimuli

I incorporated Sarah Bennett in this video of brain stimuli because she is a member of the women's volleyball team here on HSU campus. Which made a perfect set up because volleyball is a fast pace game and without proper reflexes, you will not be successful in reaching your optimum level or success which it comes to understanding motion.

This activity involves a ball approaching the subject in a matter of seconds then the subject reacts accordingly in catching the ball. This involves your light sensors recorded from your eyes in receiving that there is a ball approaching your head, which then travels to your occipital lobe on the back side of your brain which then sends the information to your frontal lobe that controls decision making in order to catch the incoming ball or not. The motor cortex is then activated receiving instructions from the frontal lobe which controls your muscle movement. The motor controls then send it receiving information to your spinal cord activating your motion sensors signaling your arms to move. These signals are then sent to your hands jump-starting your motor control sending information back to the frontal lobe whether to catch or block the ball heading towards your body, achieving the mindset goal. This is the amazing factor as to how the brain works when a ball is approaching you!

Sadly, my phone died and had no other form of recording her responses but I asked her
when she is in the game how her motor cortex is activated:
Her response was fast paced and they are activated almost immediately.

I also asked her if she practices a lot with motor control in order to get better with the fast-paced game and her response was: Yes, I do a lot of motor control on my own or with friends challenging me to do better on and off the court. I had no idea how important all of these things are happening at once.

My video is on my friend's account hope you guys enjoy this video please give feedback because I get shaky! LOL
