For my assignment, I was supposed to write down three things that brought joy and happiness to my day for a WHOLE week! I know I emphasized whole, and it's not that long, but this exercise made me realize that I do not see the happiness in each day than I do the negatives. Anywhoo my week started on...

Day 1: April 22nd, 2018
- I woke up, and my parents had breakfast made! It is always great to eat a homecooked meal. As a busy college student, I barely have the time or forget to eat sometimes! So a homecooked meal is always good for the soul!

-My parents found a new church to go to, and I have met so many new people. They are so warm-welcoming. Being a new person in any situation is nerve-racking, and for them to be so inviting is lovely. So getting to see them was beautiful as well.

- While driving back to Abilene I stopped at Starbucks to get that CAFFEINE cause ya girl can't live without it, but the person in front of me paid for my drink, and then I saw them at the stop light, then rolled down my window and yelled THANK YOU! It made my day.

Day 2: April 23rd, 2018
- I got to take my baby that I nanny for to the playground, and she loved it! She automatically makes my days better!

-Then we got snowcones with Matthew which made it even better to be spending time with the two people that I adore the absolute most!

-Then I got a flat tire which isn't very excellent but my spare was in remarkable shape, and the people at the dealership gave me a discount!

Day 3: April 24th, 2018
-I got my test scores back, and I got a 100 on my test so that immediately made my day!

-Then my boyfriend bought me lunch and brought it to my work! He made my day even better.

-After the day had settled, I had a movie night with ice cream that topped it all off.

Day 4: April 25th, 2018
- I had a test that morning which bummed me out, but I felt very confident about passing it! After the test, I got free candy from my friend! Postive!

-For lunch, I ate with my little from Big Brother Big Sisters, and he is always fun to see during the week. Even if it is only for 30 minutes, he's a hoot to be around!

-Lastly, after lab, Matthew and I went fishing off of Lake Kirby! Fishing is always just a relaxing place to sit in peace and enjoy my surroundings. Forget about my chaotic life watch the Abilene sunset!

Day 5: April 26th, 2018
- I actually made breakfast before class this morning! SHOCKER

-After my class, I went to the gym to clear my head from this week! I love feeling healthy, and having those endorphins push me to my limits while working out!

- I went grocery shopping with Matthew and ended up meal prepping! WHOO HOO!

Day 6: April 27th, 2018
-I had to work, but I brought my little girl with me to the spring football game to watch Matthew, and I got to see his parents as well!

-After Matt talked me into getting snow cones, so we did! Postive!
-That night we got to have a cook-out with him and his parents, and it was terrific! I really enjoy getting to spend time with his family since they are going to be my in-laws.. sooo! YEAH!

Day 7: April 28th, 2018
-Slept in! Woke up around 10 am, did a little bit of planning for the next week which I always enjoy cause I'm weird and I like to plan stuff... I'm an organized MESS if you can't already tell.

-For lunch, we went to Heff's with Matt's parent's and then ran a couple of errands which was really lovely!

-Lastly, topped off my Sunday with the gym and having another movie night with Matthew!

Understanding the positives in life rather than dwelling on the negatives will always bring out a better attitude. Making it a point to sit down at the end of the day and write down three things that made my day better really did change my perspective throughout the week! This activity was a significant one, and I hope all of you enjoy reading it as much as I did living it! Enjoy!
